The instrument is currently available for inspection in Southlake, Texas.

It was purchased in Fort Worth in 1999 at a Steinway event hosted by Texas Christian University, home of the world renowned Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. The instrument has been moved twice since purchase:

Once for initial delivery to our home in Carrollton, Texas, and a second time in 2003 when we moved 20 miles to Southlake.

Both moves were performed by professional piano movers referred by Steinway Hall.

Size

At just 5 foot 1 inch, this perfectly designed instrument is compact enough to fit into any living space, yet grand enough to fill that space with a sound consistent in pitch, rich in color and majestic in volume – in short, it provides the unmistakable grandeur of a true artistic masterpiece.

The serial number of the instrument is 541087, and Steinway can verify that we are the original owners of the instrument.

Value

The price of a new Model S currently exceeds $66,000, and so the normal retail price of this instrument according to Steinway should be about $50,000.

Due to current market conditions and our desire to downsize our living space, we are willing to part with this beloved instument for the best offer over $27,000.
